For the first time the Ludlow Typograph Company has began to produce the Tempory Grave Markers for distribution to the general public. This website depicts our products that are currently available for purchase. We will maintain the same quality in our products that has been a trademark for the company for over 100 years.
At the same time we will continue to provide parts and service on the Ludlow machines.

Our Story
The Ludlow Typograph Company was started in 1906 to supply typeface for the printing industry namely newspapers. The company developed in the 1930's a reverse font with Deaton-Kennedy Company in Joliet Il to be used in manufacturing cast letters for a temporary gravemarker. Ludlow worked with Deaton-Kennedy Company for over 75 years in manufacturing and support until
the company closed in 2013.
